A speck of extravagance at an affordable price. The car was produced between 1994 - 2000. Especially popular among young people, whose desire to have a sports vehicle did not go hand in hand with an appropriate state of bank account. The model was first presented in 1993 at the car exhibition in Frankfurt.
Tigra was created on a basis of Opel Corsa B. We used the floor boards, engines and cockpit in it. What distinguishes this vehicle from the rest is its attractive and sports look. The nice and nimble silhouette of this model makes it quite pleasant to watch. However, this car is rather designed for women.
Unfortunately, when you are inside the Opel Tigra, the spell brakes. The interior is boring and bleak, what's more, because of thriftiness, materials of a low quality have been used. Theoretically, Tigra is a four-person car, but the places at back can be hardly called as seats. There is not much space even for the younger passengers. Yet on the front seats one can sit high and comfortably.
As it happens to sports cars, the trunk capacity of this model is only 215 l. However, after folding - rather not suitable for use - rear seats we get pretty decent 425 l.
Tigra is a light car, so there have been two gasoline (petrol) engines 1.4 l and 1.6 l used, with power of 90 HP and 106 HP relatively, they may not provide the sports driving, but every so often they allow us to feel the thrill of excitement.
