Today I show you how to change the whole bumper in Kadett from the standard one for the one from Kadetta GSi, together with the original halogens. Primo number 1 - the BUMPER from Kadett GSi with halogens
Primo number 2 - the front fog lamp SWITCH and the RELAY: Primo number 3 - a SET OF BASIC TOOLS that is a soldering iron (we missed it, then), a knife, scredrivers, a drill, electrical tape... etc. So let's start with the old bumper mounted on two screws (plus three to the dummy of the radiator). We pull out the old bumper from the guide bar and put is aside. Then, we let through the pod of the engine the halogens' cables and plug it under the original GM plugs which are in a bunch near the lights. If we connect it ok, we can pass the bumper and screw it. Subsequently,we go in. We take out the upholstery f the clocks with the lights switches. In the group running underthe case on the left side we find brown and black cables. We plugthe relay on it, and then get the leads from the relay to the cockpit. The leads shall be connected in a similiar way like this one depicted in the picture belo: If all has gone well, we managed to plugged. Isolate the leads with the tape or solder (what you prefer). After putting it altogether - the effect is staggering! Lasting of the modification: 2.5 h, or so For the help with the assembly and connection of the halogens I really thank the sheriff.
