At the special request of many people I place here a photostory showing how to easily (and cheap) do a back light for legs in ASTRA F. I think that in other Opel's models, it is also so easy. Sorry for the poor pictures' quality (mobile phone and poor lighting) and for the fact that there are just too few photos, but I will try to explain it very thoroughly so there should be no problem. And in case there is, I serve a personal assistance for people from Warsaw and the surrounding area and web assistance for the others. Things needed: 1) A thin wire (cord). The length depends on how many spots we highlight. 2) Electrical tape. Firstly, we unscrew the visor and the handle over the door. Later, we take out the plug form the screw and unscrew the screw. Pull itpowerfully and to our eyes such asight emerges (there should not be the black cord). Wetake out the lamp. We can see two cables (in the picture no. 4. - those two black on the right should not be here). ONLY shall the red 'em draw our attention. We stick into it with the help of the lead prepared beforehand or we plug to the plug. We drag the cable under the lining in the direction of the front pillar. We go down with the pillar. To adhere the cable we use the adhesive tape. Cable goes between the pillar and the dashboard. We take the door's gasket out (up and forward). In the picture it is taken out + the gasket on the left as far as to the floor. The lead (-) to the module we take under the gasket and we carefully put the gasket - being careful not to cut the cable on the metal sheet. We screw the swith in the door. Take out the insulation from one of the cables. To it we plug (-) from the module. Unfortunately, the cable should be chosen through trial and error - both are grey. The other cable, which is to the module we plug to (+) which we pulled to the lamp. We screw in the switch. Remember that it works only if you drive the switcher and the screw gets the mass.Now it should work, and in front of our eyes there should be a sight like THIS (provided that it is not dark). Indeed, the result is much better. We put it all together taking care not to cut the leads (that we just got it) with the screws we drive.
