I've decided to change my white turn signals (blinkers, indicators) for a bit dimmer ones, the rear lights likewise. So I took the indicators out and cleansed them in water (I washed them). Later I used waterproof paper (a kind of sandpaper that can be used in wet conditions) to remove minor scratch. And again the washing, yet this time using some solver. It was to degrease the blinkers. And then the lacquering began. I put a layer from a distance of about 30 cm.
After about 30-50 min from putting the first layer I tarnished the indicator and put another layer. Waited till it dried. And then another layer.
At the end Auto-max paste and the blinker looks like if it has been dimmed in a fabric.
Costs:
- lacquer MOTIP: 16 zł
- the paper for dimming - 1 zł
- AutoMax paste - 3.5
- own work
And we've got beautiful black indicators.
